I was so glad when Nick opted to continue playing his trombone at the U of M. That only lasted one year, but it was such a delight to go hear him play. I am recycling a program I just found. It's from Thursday, April 22, 2010. Ted Mann Concert Hall (gorgeous space). 7:30 p.m. He was part of the Maroon and Gold Campus Band. Eric M. Allen was the conductor and Brett Benson was the guest conductor. They played after the North Star Campus Band. Their songs were "Hosts of Freedom March" (1920) by Karl L. King (ed. John P. Paynter), "Amazing Grace" (1994) traditional, arranged by William Himes, and "Council Oak" (2002) by David Gillingham.
