My Confusion

I find that I mix things up more and more these days. A harbinger of my old age? Or careless attention? Either way, it's frustrating when I realize I've been "convinced" of something that's entirely untrue. For years, I've identified author Jude Devereaux as a friend of my dear Lisa Middag. Yet I just found a note (in my own writing) that says "Judith Ivory" (underlining is from note) with this info:

"(intelligent romance) NOT Jude Devereaux"

Apparently, I've made this mistake more than once. Poor Lisa . . . she must think I'm completely senile! I was so impressed when she showed me a book where she was listed in the dedication / acknowledgements (I don't remember which, naturally). Sigh. I'm not even that old!
